Researchers at Bradford Institute for Health Research are about to go on the run to raise funds for the Stroke Association.
The team of ten, aged 22 to 60 and one who is seven months’ pregnant, are Phd students to professors and all members of the Academic Unit for Elderly Care and Rehabilitation.
They will be taking part in the Stroke Association Resolution Run at Temple Newsam on March 2.
Josie Dickerson, research programme manager at the Academic Unit of Elderly Care and Rehabilitation at Bradford Royal Infirmary, said: “We work closely with stroke survivors and their families in our research, and also have received a lot of support from the stroke association for our research. We felt that it was time to give something back.”
