Residents in Aireborough, Horsforth and parts of Wharfedale are being reminded that garden waste collections are about to re-start.
Leeds City Council will begin its fortnightly collection of brown bins again on Monday, March 3.
Councillor Ryk Downes (Lib Dem, Otley & Yeadon) is keen to spread the word, especially since the council is no longer supplying collection calendars to residents.
He said: “There are still many ways to find out when your bin collection is due to resume and I have been assured it will be on the same day as it was when it finished before the winter break.
“I am disappointed that the council no longer provide these useful calendars, as I believe we should be encouraging everyone to recycle more, which is supposed to be one of the council’s priorities.”
Residents can still find out details at the council’s contact centre, the libraries in Otley and Yeadon or from leeds.gov.uk/browngardenwastebin.
