Three girls who live in Calverley and Farsley have been chosen to represent Girl Guiding at international events.
The trio – Chloe Bean, Becky Wakefield and Chloe Sharp – hope to visit India, Norway and Japan, respectively, this year and next.
Each will join in a community project as well as meeting and learning about other cultures. The opportunity arose when they went to an international selection weekend organised by Girlguiding North East England.
Guiding commissioner Dawn Thornton said: “Each of the girls are testament to their own commitments to guiding within their units and are amazing.”
