Work is due to take place this week to tackle water forcing its way through road surfaces in Haworth.
The problem in Sun Street and Cold Street has been attributed to a broken culvert.
The water has been damaging the roads and creating hazardous conditions when it freezes over.
On Monday, Worth Valley Ward councillor Glen Miller said he had followed up a complaint from a local resident and was informed repairs would be carried out “in the next two days”.
“It’s a shame that district councillors have to get involved to get such a simple problem solved,” he said. “But I look forward to this being sorted out to the satisfaction of all the residents who live there.”
