Celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal rode into Bradford on a giant elephant today to film for his new Channel 4 series - Heston's Great British Food.
The star climbed up to straddle the garland-hung wooden elephant in the middle of the Mirror Pool and paraded through City Park.
The sequence of Heston's grand arrival in Bradford will be shown at the start of an episode to be screened sometime in the Spring, all about Bradford and its iconic curries.
Tomorrow, Heston will be at a secret location in Saltaire trying out his take on curry with an invited taste panel of devoted Bradford curry fans.
