Police have prevented a group of men from converting an empty block of flats in Manningham, Bradford, into a cannabis factory.

After reports of a suspicious group at the flats, police found out the men had forced their way in by removing a metal grill and smashing a window.

Items found in the flat suggested they were in the process of setting up a cannabis factory.

A spokesman for the Manningham Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Please be aware of any empty or abandoned buildings near you and if you feel that people may be using them for whatever purpose, but without permission, report it.”
