Four North Bradford Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have been shortlisted for this year’s West Yorkshire Policing Awards.
PC Gaz Roberts and PC Cheryl Johnson are in the running for the Award for Extraordinary Public Service for work they have done with disadvantaged children in two local children’s homes.
PCSO Cath Elder has been shortlisted for the Solving Problems with Partners Award after working with the Frizinghall Girls group to produce a crime reduction video and poster to reduce burglary and theft.
PCSO Tracey Beasley is in line for the Sharon Beshenivsky Trophy – PCSO of the Year after setting up a boxing club for youngsters in Thornton to divert them from crime and anti-social behaviour.
