Police investigating the disappearance of a Bradford woman have arrested a man on suspicion of assault.
Viera Ridajova, 30, was last seen leaving her Spencer Road home last Wednesday, and today a 32-year-old man was arrested in relation to the case.
He remains in police custody for questioning.
Police still believe that Viera is in the Bradford area, and have renewed an appeal for information about her whereabouts.
She is Slovakian, about 5ft 2ins tall and of small build, with brown eyes and collar length black hair.
When last seen she was wearing a black jacket, a black hooded top and black and purple trainers.
She also has the letters 'RM' tattooed on her left upper arm.
A police spokesman said: “Her disappearance is out of character and police are increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Bradford on 101.”
