Silsden Town Hall has been officially re-opened following a £300,000 renovation.
It was closed for several months while Bradford Council, which owns the town hall, carried out extensive refurbishments.
Contractors improved access for disabled people, including a lift to the upper floor, new disabled toilets, and a ramp on the pavement outside.
The upstairs function room was refurbished, with new sound and light equipment available to groups hiring the building.
Silsden Library moved from nearby Wesley Place into a ground floor room in the town hall.
Coun Andrew Mallinson (Con, Craven), who attended the opening, said: “The money was extremely well spent. There was not one single criticism – there was just a wow factor. There’s an overall quality to the place.”
