A woman drove to a fire station for help after the stray cat she had rescued escaped and hid behind the dashboard of her car.
The lady was on her way to a cat rescue centre in Allerton, Bradford, when the animal got out of the carrier it was in and burrowed into the front of the vehicle.
She drove to Fairweather Green fire station where firefighters removed panels of the car to free the cat and allow her to continue her journey.
