A man found on fire at a property in Steadman Terrace, Leeds Road, Bradford, was recovering in Leeds General Infirmary at the weekend.

The man, in his 20s, was said to have suffered extensive burns to his face and chest in the incident on Friday evening.

But a police spokesman said his condition was stable in Leeds General Infirmary and his injuries were not life-threatening.

Inquiries are ongoing to establish how the man came to be on fire.
