A new pop-up shop aims to get budding entrepreneurs on the way to success.
On Monday, social housing landlord Incommunities will open the city’s first pop-up shop helping job seekers and those wanting to start businesses.
Staff at the Open Field info shop, on Broadway, in the former Stead & Simpson store, will provide one-stop advice and support to anyone trying to get a business idea off the ground, find work or access training.
They will also be able to book people onto ‘back to work’ programmes and give money management advice.
Appointments and referrals to some of Open Field’s specialist employment and enterprise advisors based at City House can also be arranged.
