Police have re-openend two motorway lanes shut after a petrol tanker caught fire near Brighouse at Junction 25 on the M62 westbound just after 8.30am today.
The blaze was reported to emergency services by the driver himself who said flames were in the cab of the vehicle carrying LPG - the fire had started in the engine.
Brighouse and Cleckheaton fire crews tackled the incident and the tanker was removed from the scene.
Traffic flow was back to normal by 11.30am.
