A paralympian and Bradford Bulls Wheelchair Rugby League Club team have visited children as part of its disability awareness week.
Wheelchair basketball player Josie Cichockyj spoke to pupils at St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in Shipley and the Bulls’ team ran workshops with children.
Head teacher Simon Gallacher said a deaf woman would be teaching children signing singing later this term and is also arranging for a guide dog visit.
He said the disability awareness week was the first one run at the school.
He said the visit was intended to raise awareness among pupils.
