Pupils took part in a trip to the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside London.
Year Five pupils at Ilkley’s Moorfield School visited the Barbara Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield as part of a design technology and art project. The pupils studied and drew the sculptures and then attended a workshop and created their own 3D models.
Art teacher Lisbet Redman said: "We had a fascinating day at this purpose-built gallery for the Yorkshire-born artist, studying shape, space and light.”
