Four fire engines attended a blaze at a car repair business in Bradford yesterday.
Crews from Bradford, Idle and Fairweather Green stations were called to the single-storey building on Bowland Street, off Manningham Lane, at 4.50pm.
Part of a car that was being repaired inside the building had caught fire, said a spokesman for Bradford fire station. He added that the company was shut at the time and no employees were on site.
The emergency call was made by workers at a nearby business who could smell smoke.
The flames were put out by 5.25pm and no-one was injured, although the building was smoke-logged. The spokesman added that an investigation was being held into the cause.
