People concerned about welfare reform are invited to a conference in Bradford tomorrow. Welfare Reform Impact Bradford (WRIB) is worried about how low-income families will cope with changes to benefits. So the group is inviting faith leaders and other concerned parties to go along to the Thornbury Centre, Leeds Old Road, from 9.30am. The conference will focus on the effect of the ‘Bedroom Tax’, and explore the fairness of the way in which new sanctions are being applied. For more information, ring Gordon Dey on 01274 499781. To book a place at the conference, email judith.hudson @bradford.anglican.org.
