Pupils at a Bradford primary school gave a roar of approval to an art project that saw them create a beastly sculpture.
Artist Naseem Darbey paid a visit to Reevy Hill Primary School in Bedale Drive, Buttershaw, to help pupils design and create dragon displays as part of the school’s ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ theme for this term.
The project was developed to help the children raise their self-esteem and confidence, enabling pupils of different ages to work together as a team.
The children wrote creative stories based on their good and bad dragons with the help of author, Nick Toczek, who has also been involved in the project and these stories have been incorporated in to their dragon design.
The Dragons are now on display in the school’s library.
