Performance groups in the east of Bradford are being asked to help come up with ideas on how Eccleshill Mechanics Institute could become a top local venue. A development plan, supported by Bradford Council’s East Area Co-ordinator’s office, is being drawn up for the Grade II listed Victorian building.

Eccleshill ward councillor Geoff Reid, who is also Chairman of Eccleshill Community Association, the group which manages the centre, said: “To secure a healthy long term future, we need to make the most of the building and its huge potential."
