A carer of vulnerable adults is to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court accused of smacking and hitting patients at Ashfield House in Thornton.
June Downer, 60, of Southroyd Park, Pudsey, pleaded not guilty to all the allegations against her when she appeared at the court yesterday.
She is charged with four offences of ill-treating a person who lacks capacity, between June 1, 2012, and December 1, 2012.
The court heard that the trial, beginning on June 2, is set to last up to five days.
Judge John Potter extended Downer’s bail until that hearing.
