Does your dog have what it takes to be an opera star?
The producers of Puccini’s La Boheme are seeking a dog to appear in the show when the celebrated Chisinau National Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra bring it to Bradford on Thursday, March 20.
Director and producer Ellen Kent said: “Many years ago when we last did La Boheme and asked local people to volunteer their pets. It was a huge success. We’re a nation of animal lovers; I’m sure there is plenty of doggie talent out there.”
The dog would need to be small and well behaved, and the owner would need to be prepared to go onstage in costume to look after the animal. To audition your dog, sent a photograph to Sadie Williams at Sadie @ellenkent.co.uk. Include your contact number and address as well as the breed, height, weight, age and name of your dog.
La Boheme is on at St George’s Hall. For tickets call (01274) 432000.
