Peace campaigners have handed out 1,000 roses in Bradford each carrying a message of peace. Ibrar Hussain, of the Save the Mothers Trust, who helped organised the multi-faith celebration in City Park, invited guests including civic and religious dignitaries from across Bradford.
There were also exhibition area, stalls and refreshments. The Reverend Canon Andrew Williams is pictured at the event, receiving a rose from founder of Save the Mothers Trust and chief organiser of the event, Shaykh Mufti Qazi Hassan Raza.
