Keighley children researching the town’s Catholic history have been making films which will be shown at this year’s Keighley Festival.
Pupils from Our Lady of Victories and St Anne’s Catholic primary schools have worked with local historian Malcolm Hanson and film-maker Mark Waddington.
The St Anne’s pupils are recreating the opening of Keighley’s St Anne’s Church, which was designed by Augustus Welby Pugin, the architect famous for designing the inside of the Houses of Parliament.
Our Lady of Victories children are concentrating on an event that took place during the First World War, when a small group of Keighley-based German butchers were attacked in the High Street.
