Trains between Bradford Interchange and Halifax are experiencing some delays after a lorry hit a bridge this afternoon.
A Network Rail spokesman said the collision happened at Hipperholme tunnel at about 4.20pm.
“Trains are running over the bridge at 5mph until we can get staff there from Leeds to assess it, but they are stuck in rush-hour traffic,” said the spokesman. “ We are told that the lorry has gone.”
A Metro spokesman said: “Passengers might notice a few extra minutes to their service.”
