Police released a CCTV image of the hooded suspect, who fled with cash and cigarettes after threatening staff at the Co-op convenience store on the Staithes parade of shops in Baildon Road.
The bespectacled robber struck at about 10.20pm on Sunday. He was in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6ft tall, and was wearing a dark blue fleece jacket with a cream hooded top and had a scarf across his face. He spoke with a local accent.
Nobody was hurt in the robbery.
