Residents of Braithwaite, Keighley, are expected to turn out in force for a sponsored walk tribute to fall victim Maurice ‘Moz’ Tretton.
Friends will walk from the estate where his mum still lives, to the Bingley tower block, where the 20-year-old plunged to his death on January 18.
There will be a two-minute silence and balloons carrying messages will be released.
Walkers will set off from the Ring at noon on Sunday.
“Even if people only feel able to cover part of the route, please still pick up a sponsor form and come along,” said Angela Murray, who is organising the event with her niece, Jodie.
“We hope as many people as possible will attend for Moz.”
The walk is just one activity being staged by Braithwaite residents to raise money in support of Mr Tretton’s family.
A collection box has been placed in the newsagents by the Ring, where a raffle is also being drawn at 1pm tomorrow.
Contact Miss Murray at 84 Braithwaite Avenue or on (01535) 523508 or 07948 950219 for details.
