A performance featuring a yoga discipline said to “heal and awaken the inner consciousness” is being performed at Kala Sangam.
Sacred Strings, performed by Raj Academy, will feature the discipline known as as Gurmat Sangeet, Gurbani Kirtan or Naad Yoga.
It is presented by Professor Surinder Singh and his team of artists in the Ganges Hall at Kala Sangam Arts Centre, St Peter’s House, Forster Square, tomorrow from 7pm.
Also at Kala Sangam, a photographic exhibition called The Colours of Holi will run from February 22 to April 30.

As part of Matthew’s ongoing ‘Colours’ series, he travelled to the holy town of Vrindavan in India to document the Holi festival. In the slums of Delhi, Matthew teamed up with the Smile Foundation charity to photograph the work it does.
