A hostelry is set to reopen after a £170,000 makeover.
Keighley MP and Government Minister Kris Hopkins will help celebrate the relaunch of the Robin Hood pub at Silsden with new leaseholders Darren and Sue Robinson.
They have partly funded the makeover along with owners Punch Taverns.
The pub on Kirkgate has been closed for three weeks while work was carried out. Inside, the Robin Hood has been redecorated in a traditional style and a kitchen has been added.
The pub, known for cask ales and which has been awarded the Cask Marque accreditation, will feature two additional guest cask ales and a larger range of lagers and ciders.
Licensee Darren Robinson said: “We can’t believe the transformation. The pub has been given a fresher look and feel without losing the cosy surroundings of this traditional pub.”
Punch Taverns’ partnership development manager Ian Lester said: “It’s great that Punch can invest in our pubs and we essentially want to reposition The Robin Hood as one of the leading pubs.”
