Bradford Council will start essential repair work on a collapsed wall on North Bank Road, Cottingley, on Monday, February 10.
The road will be closed to vehicles so that the work, which is expected to last 16 weeks, can be carried out as quickly and safely as possible.
Traffic will be diverted via the B6146 Cottingley Moor Road, the B6269 Cottingley Cliffe Road, and Stoney Ridge Road.
Resident and pedestrian access will not be affected and all businesses will remain open as usual. Warning signs will be put up in advance and all diversions will be clearly signposted while the work is taking place.
The council apologises for inconvenience caused whilst the work is carried out.
