A walk on Saturday to commemorate Bishop Blaise, known as “Bradford’s forgotten saint”, will call at the Lord Clyde, on Thornton Road, for participants to sample some bread and dripping.
Glyn Watkins, who is organising the walk, was delighted when landlady Julie Yeadon offered to put on a tray bread and dripping.
He said: “The walk goes from Glyde House to the New Bradford Playhouse, then on to the Sparrow Bier Cafe for pies. After that we can we fill up a few corners at the Lord Clyde.”
The walk, called A Guided Walk Through Bradford’s Hidden Histories, ends at the Sir Titus Salt pub.
