A youngster from Wilsden has raised £250 for a Marie Curie hospice by holding two events in memory of her great-grandma.
Georgina Mathers, ten, held a shopping night and ran a stall at her school’s Christmas fair, selling a host of knick knacks belonging to her great-gran, Doreen Gledhill.
She had regularly visited the Bradford hospice to spend time with Mrs Gledhill before she passed away in September.
“I was really proud to raise so much money,” she said.
