A family have appealed for help to find their daughter’s new dog which went missing on Saturday evening.
Tim Harrison, 45, and wife Jane, 42, of Walker Road, Baildon, had intended the whippet for their 16-year-old daughter Annabel.
Mr Harrison returned from a 600-mile round trip to Hastings at 5.45pm that same night where he had collected the brown adult whippet called Bella.
Before Bella had entered her new home, she bolted out the garden gate.
Mr Harrison said: “We’re pretty upset about Bella but we are holding it together. Fortunately the whole community have come together to search for her.”
She was last seen near Saltaire at 11.30am on Sunday, but ran away before anyone could get near.
The family, who hoped Bella would become a companion to their other whippet, urge anyone who has seen Bella to call them on 07527287229, or visit their Facebook page, facebook.com/groups/203109693218047/
