A 45-year-old man caught growing more than £5,000 of cannabis has been ordered to pay £2,574 at a confiscation hearing under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Steven Holt, of Hill End Lane, Queensbury, Bradford, was sentenced to a 12-month community order at Bradford Crown Court in August and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
When police searched his property in November, 2012, they found seven almost mature plants. Officers also seized £1,240 cash.
Holt pleaded guilty to producing the Class B drug and abstracting electricity.
Yesterday, Judge Peter Benson was told the value of the drugs was £5,149.87.
