Detectives hunting a knifeman who tried to rob a man in Bradford have released an e-fit image of the suspect.
The incident happened at about 2.30pm last Thursday, when the 25-year-old victim was walking along New Hey Road, East Bowling.
A knife was brandished during a struggle after the robber demanded the man’s bag, before members of the public stepped into to help the victim, who suffered minor facial injuries.
The suspect ran off empty-handed down Bowling Hall Road and is believed to have got into a blue Seat Ibiza that was being driven by another man.
The suspect is described as white, about six feet tall and of slim to medium build. He was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. The driver of the vehicle was described as black.
Det Insp Neil Benstead, of Bradford CID, said: “This was a frightening attack which left the victim quite shaken.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
