The brother of a Bradford Park Avenue FC footballing legend has died in a care home in County Durham.
John Shackleton, who was born in Bradford in 1926, was the younger sibling to England international Len Shackleton, who made 217 appearances for the club between 1939 and 1946, scoring 171 goals.
John is also believed to have been on the books for Bradford Park Avenue FC and Sunderland AFC. Working as a chiropodist in Bradford, he was an avid tennis player with Heaton Tennis Club and a member of Bradford Opera Group.
