A father-of-four who pushed his wife over has been sentenced to a two year community order with supervision and activities to address domestic violence and alcohol abuse.
Nadim Khalid, 41, argued with his wife at their Bradford home after taping her phone conversations, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday. He pleaded guilty to common assault after shoving her into furniture.
An ambulance was called and she was treated in hospital for chest and rib pain.
Khalid, now of Haugh Shaw Road, Halifax, had no previous convictions.
