A pedestrian suffered life-threatening head injuries when he was in collision with a car in Bradford.
The 32-year-old man was crossing Bradford Road, Thornbury, near to The Farmers pub, at about 5.55pm on Sunday when the collision happened.
The vehicle involved, a black SEAT Leon, was travelling towards Dick Lane. The driver was spoken to by police at the scene. The injured man, believed to be from the Thornbury area, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
A police spokesman said the man was currently in a serious condition.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the car involved in the time leading up to it, is asked to ring PC Neil Clark in the Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit on 101.
