The Veterans Stock Car Association is calling on any Bradfordians involved in the sport to attend its 21st Annual Northern Reunion.
Stock cars became part of the sporting scene in the city when meetings were frequently held at Odsal, while one of the sport’s most renowned families, the Wainmans, come from Silsden.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 8pm at the Boarshurst Band Club, Greenfield, near Oldham.
Now part of the Stock Car racing social calendar, the gathering is organised by Keith Thompson, an ex-Formula 1 Stock Car driver.
He said: “We’re always trying to contact as many drivers, families, friends, mechanics, supporters and track officials as we can, in order to make each annual reunion even better than the previous one.”
The night will feature a quiz and raffle, a display of memorabilia, and a chance to watch some archive film.
