Man jailed after attacking woman in front of her child
A man who assaulted a woman in front of her young child was jailed for 14 weeks.
Curt Robertshaw admitted common assault and was sent to prison at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court yesterday.
Robertshaw, 29, of North Avenue, Manningham, Bradford, admitted assaulting the woman by beating, on January 22.
Sentencing him, District Judge Susan Bouch said the defendant accepted that water from a kettle ended up over the complainant’s head, causing reddening, and also admitted putting his hand round her mouth.
