A man was being treated for leg injuries tonight after being knocked down by a car.
The 33-year-old was taken to Leeds General Infirmary after the incident on Bradford Road near to The Farmers pub and Thornbury Barracks at Pudsey.
A police spokesman said he was unable to release details of the vehicle and that investigations were ongoing.
Officers briefly closed the road after being called at 5.57pm last night. Further tests were being carried out on the man in hospital.
