YOUTH: The Youth Group at Cottingley Cornerstone Centre is for people aged 13 and 18, held on a Wednesdays between 6pm and 8pm. They can try activities such as games consoles, use of the computers in the IT Suite, arts and crafts in the art room and team games. Unfortunately all this could end because of cuts to the Bradford Youth Service in March. The club asks if anyone could give time to volunteer on a Wednesday, to work on a rota basis with existing volunteers to keep this established youth group running for the young people of Cottingley. Without more volunteers the youth group cannot continue.
LITTLE ANGELS: Little Angels meet on Thursday at St Michael’s Church, Cottingley, between 1.15pm and 3.15pm for young families with pre-school children. No need to book, just turn up. The bar will be open and there will be a free arts and crafts session for the children.
