A workshop teaching arts groups how to apply for funding was such a success another is to be held.
The Arts Council England held the workshop in Bradford on Wednesday at the invitation of Bradford Council’s culture chief, Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe. Coun Hinchcliffe said: “The workshop went really well. I was pleased so many were there. Within two days of it being announced, the workshop of 50 was full with a waiting list of 20 people so it just shows that there's a tremendous enthusiasm and appetite to create more home-grown culture in Bradford.”
Nina Baptiste, of Arts Council England, who was at the workshop, said: “We were very pleased with the turnout.”
