Students at Titus Salt School in Baildon are working with British servicemen and women to help develop the Ferniehurst Dell Yorkshire Armed Forces Sculpture Trail.
All the projects are under way and on schedule to create the Baildon art park, due to open this summer.
Students have worked with historian Tracy Crags and interviewed former and current Armed Forces service personnel to understand issues which affect them.
Heather Graham, creative and community projects manager at the school, said “Material gathered from the interviews and creative writing sessions will now be delivered to the sculptors who will incorporate this resource into their sessions to inspire participants.”
Two free community workshops are being held at the school, on Saturday, February 8, from 10am to 1pm and Saturday, February 15, from 11am until 2.30pm.
