Skipton Building Society’s Big 160 has donated funds to groups in Shipley
Three community groups in Shipley have been named in Skipton Building Society’s Big 160, part of its Grassroots Giving funding programme.
Hirst Wood Regeneration Group, Salts Tennis Club and Saltaire Cricket Club will all receive £500 to spend on community projects.
Each group gained a big enough proportion of the 20,000 public votes cast to triumph over 1,000 other applicants from across the UK and earn their place as one of 17 Yorkshire winners.
