Two men were taken to hospital after a van hit fencing and a lamp-post in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Watch commander Jon Sugden said two crews from Bradford fire station spent 30 minutes freeing one of the men from a white Astra van on Parry Lane from 3am.
Sgt Nigel Fawcett-Jones, of the Western Area Roads Policing Unit, said the road was closed at its junction with Lowe Lane and Bowling Back Lane while a man was freed from the vehicle.“Two men, aged 22 and 23, were taken to LGI and BRI respectively with serious, but not believed to be life-threatening injuries,” he said. Anyone who saw the vehicle travelling along Parry Lane, towards Bowling Beck Lane, or saw it before it turned into the street should contact police on 101. The accident happened about 400 metres from the junction of Perry Lane and Bowling Back Lane.
