Snow causes motorway problems
Heavy snowfall was causing misery for motorists on the M62 near Bradford and Brighouse this evening.
The snow fell at 4.30pm, causing hazardous driving conditions on the westbound carriageway between junctions 25 (Brighouse) and 23 (Huddersfield).
Traffic was affected back to junction 26 (Chain Bar), said the Highways Agency.
The worst conditions were said to be at junction 24 (Ainley Top), although lorries were reportedly struggling to get up inclines between junctions 25 and 23.
