Fifty of the district’s finest young musicians will be performing in the Bradford Youth Orchestra New Year Concert tomorrow.
The theme is Myths and Legends featuring musical scores from the likes of Lord of the Rings, Romeo and Juliet and the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Tony Johnson, head of Bradford Council’s music and arts service, said: “This is a great opportunity for the district’s talented musicians to showcase their skills.”
The concert at Beckfoot School, Bingley, starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 (concessions £3) and can be bought on the door.
