An armed gang robbed a woman at knifepoint in her own home.
Police are now appealing for information on the terrifying raid in Ransdale Grove, West Bowling, Bradford, after the men fled with jewellery and cash.
At about 9am yesterday, a man knocked on the door of the house. When the occupant, a woman in her 30s, answered the door, he forced his way in, followed by two other men in balaclavas.
The men threatened the woman with a knife, before stealing jewellery and cash.
The gang then left in a black Vauxhall Insignia car driven by a fourth man, which headed off towards Manchester Road and was later found abandoned in East Bowling.
The victim was left bruised and very shaken.
The man who knocked at the door was described as Asian, while the men in balaclavas were believed to be white. All four men were wearing dark clothing.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, said: ”This was a particularly nasty incident, which left the victim very shaken.
"I would appeal for anyone with information to contact Bradford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
