A drunken rant directed towards police officers landed a man in court.
Jonathan Wray, 43, was “extremely embarrassed” about his behaviour towards officers as they left Cross Hills Police Station, near Keighley, on Christmas Day, Skipton magistrates heard.
The court was told he had been drinking and after a family row ended up outside the station, where he had been abusive and used hand gestures towards officers.
Wray, of Wensleydale Avenue, Skipton, was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victims surcharge of £15.
