Police are still seeking witnesses who might be able to help explain how a “fit and healthy” pensioner died from head injuries in a Skipton car park.
Ian Martin, 68, of Threshfield was found in the Gas Street car park shortly after 6.30pm on Thursday, January 9, and died in Airedale Hospital.
Police have now released this image of Mr Martin to help with their appeal. Although they do not believe the death to be suspicious, they are looking for anyone who could help.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “In the minutes leading up to the incident, Mr Martin had travelled on the number 72 bus from Threshfield to Skipton where he got off the bus at around 6.25pm at the main bus station.”
Call police on 101 if you can help.
